THE FASHION FACEOFF: MAD2.0

M.A.D 2.0 is a fashion competition targeted at young designers with flair, class and talent. The aim of this event is to provide a platform for gifted design to make it on the big stage. Also the event will be a developmental catalyst for the fashion industry. There will be a casting for interested designers on the 24th of November 2012 at which the seven finalists will be chosen by a panel of judges.

On the day of the event the seven designers will compete for the following prizes

* $2000 (Two Thousand USD),
* a free night in Radisson Blu Anchorage Hotel,
* the opportunity to showcase their look book on Complete Fashion magazine,
* the opportunity to participate in a major International fashion show in 2013,
* designs from the top 3 finalists on www.jumia.com.ng
* one year membership of Q Lounge (15% discount on all purchases)

There will be lots of consolation prizes.
CRITERIA
Below are the things the judges will take into consideration while scoring designers during the casting
* Creativity
* Presentation
* Originality
* Correlation of pieces/collection
* Styling
* Finishing
